The Director and Deputy Director of the Executive Secretariat held an introductory meeting with the management of the Kosovo Property Comparison and Verification Agency

On 13 June, 2023, the Executive Secretariat’s Director, Afërdita Beka-Arifaj, and Deputy Director, Milaim Çekaj held an introductory meeting with the management of the KPCVA.

During the meeting, the management and Secretariat's work so far were presented, while discussions also focused on the challenges, upcoming work, and future plans of the Agency related to the Agency's mandates, such as comparison, verification and resolution of gaps and discrepancies between the original cadastral documents taken away from Kosovo by the Serbian authorities prior to June 1999, and the current cadastral documents in the Republic of Kosovo, and uncontested and legitimate property rights over the immovable properties transferred through informal transactions prior to 24 March 1999, for which the formal transaction was prohibited by the discriminatory legislation or for which the documents required for registration in the cadastral system do not exist.
